The campaign for the launch of the Rudis Samurai wrestling shoe, featuring the new "Great Wave" colorway, was designed to blend traditional Japanese culture with modern wrestling aesthetics. The Samurai shoe line is a tribute to the late wrestler Dave Schultz, who drew inspiration for his wrestling style from Sun Tzu’s The Art of War.

Drawing inspiration from the iconic woodblock print The Great Wave off Kanagawa by Hokusai, the campaign aimed to celebrate the power, resilience, and determination embodied by both the art and the sport.
